On the 7 of March 2017 IKP hosted a working visit by TNC (P & I). The function begun with the recitation of doa and wecoming address by the Director of IKP. The Director then gave  a presentation, which included an introduction to IKP, its objectives, mission and vission of IKP. She also elaborated on the activities carried out by IKP as well as the research programmes which are on-going and to be carried out by the institute.

Representing IKP at the function were the management staff and research and agriculture officers. While TNC office were represented by the TNC, his special officers and the Director of Research Management Centre of UPM. The function continued with a short speech by the TNC. He stressed for IKP to remain focus and be in line with the original objective why IKP was formed and the objectives of  UPM. The function ended with light refreshment.
